Ampersand Gift Tag in SUBIACO, Western Australia for sale

Single letterpressed gift tag, printed on thick and durable coaster card stock and finished with a beautiful wide olive and white ribbon tie. Each tag has been printed with original antique wooden printers type, set and printed using a table top letterpress machine one impression at a time. Tag measures approx 10cm in diameter. Handmade by Ruby Victoria of Blackmans Bay, Tasmania.
*Please note, the image is not visibly indented on these tags as softer lino is used instead of wood in the letterpress machine, making for a lighter indentation. This follows the traditional method of letterpress printing, where only a light impression (called a kiss impression) was used and it was considered bad printing practice to put the type through so much pressure during printing.
